We can have your purchase hand delivered to:

Shipping Information

Prices stated at ordering DO NOT include shipping costs. Shipping and handling costs will be added to your order and a confirmation of total amount sent back to the ordering e-mail address. All packages are shipped UPS ground service (2-7 day delivery) unless you request otherwise (or if ground service is not available to the area we are shipping to). We ship only to the United States and Puerto Rico. No Delivery to P.O. Box, APO or FPO Boxes due to UPS restrictions.

Wine Shipping or Gift Baskets containing Wine Shipping Restrictions:

Wines or gift baskets containing wine may only be shipped to the following states**:

Alaska (air only), California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii (air only), Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Washington DC, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.

**State shipping laws can change quickly. Listed states subject to change.

Any gift basket that contains wine that is being shipped to a state not listed above will have sparkling cider as a substitute and price adjusted accordingly. Gift Baskets containing beer can only be shipped within California.

Please note: Special shipper boxes are required by UPS for shipment of wine only. A charge will be added to your shipping costs to include the cost of these shippers. Shipments are made ground UPS, unless you state otherwise. Additional charges will apply for other types of shipping. The most cost efficient way to ship wine is by 3 bottle, 6 bottle or twelve bottle. Call for Price Quotes.

Non-California residents are responsible for determining whether they may lawfully import alcoholic beverages into their state. We make no representation relative to your right to import wine or spirits into your state. Each state has its own rules about alcoholic beverages. You may want to check with the appropriate agency in your state or county. All alcoholic beverages are sold in California and title passes to you when shipment leaves our store.

You must be at least 21 years of age to order or receive alcoholic beverages. An adult signature will be required upon delivery – please keep this in mind when determining where you would like the package shipped. Positive ID will be required. If wine is returned to us for failure to provide positive proof of legal age, customer is responsible for paying all shipping charges.

When shipping alcohol, a surcharge of $3.75 will be added - a fee charged by UPS for an adult signature.

All bottles are 750 ml unless otherwise noted

Beer can only be shipped within California.

Shipment of other store products

Shipping and handling charges will be added to all products shipped to a customer. The total amount of the order will be sent to the e-mail address that placed the order. All products will be shipped UPS ground unless otherwise noted.

Product Descriptions

Discover California! reserves the right to substitute items of equal or greater value in the event designated product is unavailable. During the hot summer months, substitutions will be made for chocolates or any other items subject to melting or that is perishable – substitutions will be made at equal or greater value. Discover California! attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free. If a product offered by us is not as described your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.

Your placement of an order assumes you have read, fully understood and agreed to the provisions, terms and conditions above. Please email us with any questions or concerns before ordering.

Damaged Shipment Information

Discover California! takes great pride in our products and want to make sure you receive your shipment in good condition. Therefore, we take special care in preparing our product for shipping. Occasionally merchandise can be damaged during shipping. Should any merchandise arrive damaged, please retain all packing materials and product. Since all of our shipments are insured through UPS, UPS may require evidence of the damage in order to pay any claim. Call us within 24 hours of receiving your package with damaged merchandise and we will instruct you of the next step. You will either receive a refund or replacement merchandise. Returns are not accepted on food, wine or gift baskets. Returns on other products are only excepted within 10 days, with shipping charges not being refunded. You are responsible for returning the merchandise to us for refund.

Refused shipments, invalid or incorrect addresses
Shipments that are refused by purchaser or returned for any reason will be charged a 10% restocking fee. In addition, any and all shipping costs incurred in the transaction will be charged to the purchaser. Use caution when keying your shipping address. UPS charges a fee to correct an incorrect address after your package has shipped. This fee and any additional shipping charges will be charged to you when UPS notifies us of the error.

Package shipping time
In the event that the shipper (UPS) has missed a "Guaranteed*" delivery date, (only Air shipment times can be guaranteed*), the extra shipping amount paid by you will be refunded (with exception to weather delays - UPS will not refund shipping charges due to weather or events beyond their control). If an adult signature is required and there is no one to sign for it upon first attempt, there will be no refunds. Product returned because of a missed "Guaranteed" delivery date will be charged a 10% restocking fee. Please note, UPS ground and 3 day select shipments are not guaranteed by Discover California! or UPS to reach you within any timeframe. See www.ups.com for their policy regarding "guaranteed" delivery. Exceptions such as weather and UPS holidays apply.
If you need a product by a specific date, make a note in the shipping instructions and we will contact you to let you know your options and costs involved. Product cannot be returned/exchanged because a date is missed if you do not follow these guidelines.
